InfeRes

InfeRes is a Python package for inferring reservoir water extent, level, and storage volume from Landsat images. This package (1) is automatically linked to the Google Earth Engine Landsat dataset and (2) implements a number of image processing steps, thereby allowing users to work on ‘any’ reservoir without spending time in learning how to download and process satellite images.

VIC-Res

VIC-Res is a variant of the Variable Infiltration Capacity (VIC) model, a popular large-scale hydrologic model developed by the University of Washington. The key feature of VIC-Res is its capability of modelling the storage of operations of water reservoirs. VIC-Res is implemented in FORTRAN.

VIC-ResOpt extends the capabilities of VIC-Res by including tools for optimizing reservoir operations and exploring the sensitivity of the model output with respect to the parameterization of the operating rules.

reservoir

reservoir is an R package for the analysis, design, and operation of water supply reservoirs. It features some popular techniques, such as Dynamic Programming, Stochastic Dynamic Programming, and Storage-Yield-Reliability analysis.

StoDyM

StoDyM is a process-based model that simulates the storage dynamics of check dam systems and calculates important metrics of performance, such as the system’s life expectancy or sediment retention capacity. The model can also be coupled with Multi-Objective Evolutionary Algorithms (MOEA) to support the design of check dam systems.
